Ermitage Saint-Antoine participates, in its own way, in the Church’s evangelisation efforts. In communion with the Church, both our own diocese and elsewhere, through our pastoral services as well as within our facilities, we encourage pilgrims in their search for God. We hope that all these services are beneficial to the pilgrims in their reflections, contemplations and prayers in a place filled with spiritual peace and joy.
Every staff member at Ermitage Saint-Antoine, whether religious or not, has at heart the goal of accomplishing their work harmoniously together with other staff members. Combining their skills and the quality of their services, each of us contributes to the mission of Ermitage Saint-Antoine in a fraternal spirit of charity and communion.
All of our staff ensure that Ermitage Saint-Antoine is a restful and peaceful halt in your life. All visitors to the Sanctuary are warmly welcomed and respected, all without being judged. Our hope is that our fraternal spirit is evident through our words and actions.
Activities that promote sharing, faith development and relaxation.
Pastoral activities and family activities that promote relaxation and the development of the faith:
the footpath, the loan of bicycles, the hiring of small boats, the museum, the bakery La Mie de Saint-Antoine whose purpose is to invite people to share with the poor through devotion to Saint Anthony; the welcome at the information kiosk, concerts, various conferences.
Pastoral activities
All pastoral activities must serve the growth of the faith of pilgrims, encourage a greater love of Jesus Christ, foster a better knowledge of the Gospel message and develop devotion to St Anthony and Our Lady.Lady of Lourdes to whom our sanctuary is dedicated.
Family activities
Many family activities allow visitors to enjoy exceptional experiences. Observation tower of 25 meters, visit of the interpretation center, loan of bicycles, rental of kayaks, paddelboards and pedal boats. Walking trails of 1 to 7 kilometers allow you to discover the fauna and flora of our region.
Cultural activities
Guided tours to discover more than 100 years of history are offered every day. The Interpretation Centre presents objects to better understand the history of the founder and his numerous collaborations. Several works of art to discover in this open-air shrine.
